Kapibara San is an animated character that is in the shape of an animal called “capivara” or ” carpinche”.
In Japanese, the Kanji (漢字), 水豚, could be translate to water pig, also pronounced “mizubuta”.

This character has proven to be popular in Japan for not only the younger generation, but also adults who find it irresistibly cute.

Nowadays, Kapibara has its own themed restaurant and grocery shop where daily commodities are sold with Kapibara prints and branding all over it.
